Apply For PM’s Scholarship Scheme For Scholarship Of 10,000 & 15,000 Per Year

PM’s Scholarship Scheme is a major scholarship in many scholarship schemes offered by the Government. Under the scheme, the scholarship is given to the students of 10th and 12th entering in the professional courses (BE, B.Tech medical, pharmacy, BCA, BBA, Engineering, IIT etc.).

PM’s Scholarship Scheme

Under the scheme, 82,000 students (41,000 boy students and 41,000 girl students), are awarded scholarships each year. The scholarships are distributed to students across the country. A student may apply for the scholarship for only one course. If a student is to apply for scholarships in multiple courses then the application will be canceled.

The students are given scholarships by the means of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and Aadhar Payment Bridge so that the amount can be directly transferred to the student’s account.

Eligibility Criteria for PM’s Scholarship Scheme

Student’s family’s annual income must not exceed Rs 6,00,000.

The students doing distant learning will not be considered for the scholarship as only the students doing regular courses will be given these scholarships.

Student’s age must be between 18 to 25.

Details of PM’s Scholarship Scheme

The students who have scored 75% marks in class 12th are given a scholarship of Rs 1000 per month for 10 months (10,000).

Those students who have scored 85% marks in class 12th are given a scholarship of Rs 25,000.

In addition, the students doing professional courses of four or five years are provided the scholarship of 2,000 per month for the fourth and fifth year. The students who are receiving these scholarships have to score minimum 50% marks in every semester. The scholarship will be stopped in the case if the students scored marks less than 50% or get fail.

How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Scheme

The eligible students can apply for the scholarship scheme by visiting National Scholarship Portal (http://scholarships.gov.in/) Official Website.

The students will have to follow some easy steps to apply online for scholarship.

First of all, visit National Scholarship Portal http://scholarships.gov.in/ official website

M. Visvesvaraya had been elected head of the Planning Committee. Meghnad Saha approached the great engineer and requested him to step down. He argued that planning needed a reciprocity between science and politics. M. Visvesvaraya generously agreed and Jawaharlal Nehru was made head of the National Planning Committee.The so-called “British Raj” also formally established a planning board that functioned from 1944 to 1946. Industrialists and economists independently formulated at least three development plans in 2012. Some scholars have argued that the introduction of planning as an instrument was intended to transcend the ideological divisions between Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru. Other scholars have argued that the Planning Commission, as a central agency in the context of plural democracy in India, needs to carry out more functions than rudimentary economic planning.

After India achieved Independence, a formal model of planning was adopted, and accordingly the Planning Commission, reporting directly to the Prime Minister of India, was established on 15 March 1950, with Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru as the Chairman. Authority for creation of the Planning Commission was not derived from the Constitution of India or statute; it is an arm of the Central Government of India.

How to Submit PAN Card Application Online

Our government has never been more digitally savvy than it is today, and that means that there are many important government functions that can be carried out online. A month ago, the government even launched a website to let all of us track the attendance of central government employees, and to see if they were arriving to work on time. With so many government services going digital, we believe that it’s important that our readers also know what can be done online, and how.

To start with, we’re taking you through the process of applying for a PAN card. In India, most important financial transactions require you to have a PAN card – it is used when opening a bank account, filing tax returns, or for financial transactions above Rs. 50,000. Having one of these cards is pretty much essential if you’re working and managing your own finances.

Applying for a PAN is simple, and you can fill the forms online, but you’ll have to mail your documents to the Income Tax PAN services offices to finalise the process. Once you fill up the form on the site and send your papers, the application is processed and the card shipped directly to your residential address.

In case you get stuck and need more information, then the helpline number (18001801961) is a good resource – when we got stuck on some of the details of the application, we gave them a call and found the service extremely helpful.

Step one is to get copies of the different documents you need to submit on your application.

Documents Required

To submit the application, you need to upload several documents to the PAN Services Unit website. You will need to upload a proof of identity, address and date of birth, along with a scanned passport photograph. Start by making a scan of any one document per section, for each section below:

How to apply

Once you have scans of all these documents ready, simply do the following:

Go to this page on the NSDL website.

Scroll to the bottom and select Individual in the Apply for a new PAN Card drop down menu. Click on Select.

Now you can start filling the form. In case you have any doubts, visit this page for form filling guidelines.

The first field is AO Code, which you can look up here. You can also call the Income Tax department helpline at 18001801961 to find out about your AO code.

The other fields like name, gender, address, etc. are pretty self-explanatory, but remember to select the correct documents you will be submitting along with the application, from the drop-down window in point 15 on the form.

Once you’ve filled in all the details, select a payment method at the end of the form. The PAN card application fee is Rs. 105, but additional bank charges may apply depending on the payment method. If you want the PAN card sent outside India, the fee is Rs. 971. You can pay via demand draft, cheque, credit/debit card or net banking.

Click Submit when done.

Review all the details in your form. Make sure all spellings are correct and enter the captcha code, then click Confirm.

Now you’ll see a page with payment terms and conditions. Note down the transaction number at the top of the page and click Agree.

Complete the payment.

You’ll now see an acknowledgement form. This has a unique 15-digit acknowledgement number. Print this page.Paste the two photographs on the printout of the acknowledgement (in the space provided). Sign within the box on the acknowledgement form.Put this form in an envelope with the cheque or DD (if you haven’t paid online), and the required documents mentioned earlier.On the envelope, write APPLICATION FOR PAN – ____. Fill in the blank with your unique 15-digit acknowledgement number.Post it to NSDL at Income Tax PAN Services Unit, NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited, 5th floor, Mantri Sterling, Plot No. 341, Survey No. 997/8, Model Colony, Near Deep Bungalow Chowk, Pune – 411016.Your application must reach NSDL within 15 days from the date of online application. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the Class 10 results on Tuesday, days after it announced that the Class 12th result 2018 on its official website: cbse.nic.in.

The Class 12th examination was held from 5 March to 13 April, while Class 10 exams were held from 5 March to 4 April. The board had earlier said that the re-test of the Class 12 economics paper, held on 25 April, nearly a month after it was leaked, would not delay the declaration of CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 results.

According to News18, 28.24 lakhstudents had registered to appear for the CBSE board exams, out of which 11.86 lakh students appeared for class 12th board exams. There were 6,90,407 male candidates and 4,95,899 female candidates for the class 12th exams that were conducted across 4,138 centres.
